1. Write essay on any one of the following in about 150-200 words-  [ 8marks]
a) The book you like most-
I have recently read a book, "The Bhagwat Gita." I like "The Bhagwat Gita" very much. The "Bhagwat Gita" is a holy book of the Hindus. It is said that Lord Krishna himself narrated the reality of life and the duties to be performed while dealing with certain problems, to Arjuna. He had also thrown a light on mortality. A great battle was fought at Kurukshetra. It is said that Lord Krishna gave his support to the Pandavas. He was Arjuna's chariot driver. First, Arjuna refused to fight against his own relatives. At that Lord Krishna made a long speech. Lord Krishna advised Arjuna not to get emotional. He encouraged him to fight. Lord Krishna told him not to think of the result of any action. He also showed his cosmic form to Arjuna. Thus Arjuna was convinced and prepared himself to fight. The Bhagwat Gita is a great book. Every Hindu worships this book and reads it. This book persents the basic principle of Indian philosophy. It tells us that all questions regarding castes, races and religions are meaningless. It also says that all people are the children of God. Everyone must perform their duties. The Bhagwat Gita is a book of everlasting value. Every Indian finds hope and light in it's pages. This book has been translated in varions languages of the world. I love this book. I like to read it again and again. I worship it too. It is the poetry of human life.
